Private Lessons and Classes
Richard and the DanceFactoryOnline instructors are expert teachers in a wide range of American and International Dance styles. Whether you simply want to learn to dance at your wedding, to get some fun exercise, or to become a dancer at the performance or competition level, our private lessons and classes can help you become the dancer you'd like to be.

Class Descriptions

Social Dance Sampler
Looking for a way to get moving and have a great time? Want to impress the crowd at wedding receptions, parties, cruises, or on a date? This series will give you the basics and enough social and Latin dancing to make your way around the dance floor with style. Distinguish different dance rhythms, learn basic patterns and master dance etiquette. The basics in Rumba, Tango, Samba, Waltz, and Foxtrot will get you started on a lifetime of dancing pleasure. For singles and couples—it’s a fun way to meet fellow dancers and get some exercise.

#Beginning and intermediate are offered at the same time in different classrooms.

Authentic Latin/American Rhythms
Latin dancing is Hot, Hot, Hot!!! And, it's easy to learn. This class covers the basic steps of a variety of latin rhythms including Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Samba and the Tango. You, too, can learn to do these dances everyone’s doing in the nightclubs. Singles can meet new partners, or bring a partner and share your passion for the Latin rhythms. Beginners will focus on the basics of following for women and leading for men and how to solo. The intermediate level builds on the basics, and adds more style and complexity.

Big Band Swing & Lindy Hop
Everyone's Swinging! From Gap commercials to the Brown Derby, swing is the new “in” dance craze. It's easier than you think. Learn a variety of Jitterbug, Lindy and New Yorker styles, done to Big Band, Blues and even Country Western music. A great introduction to partner dancing. Excellent for parties, nightclubs and cruises. For singles and couples.
